When someone visits our website, we use third party services, Google Analytics and Wordfence, to log information such as IP addresses and other meta-data about your visit, which allows us to examine behaviour patterns and secure the website. We also log if you have previously seen our GDPR cookie banner or not, enabling us to only show it to you when necessary. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information what we intend to do with it and how we will store it.

Social Media:

We are active on various social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. If you send us a private or direct message via social media the message will be stored on the provider’s server. We will never knowingly share this information outside of our company. Other Communication Tools:

We use a third party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our e-newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and link clicks using industry standard technologies including tags and beacons, which help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. Downloading images or other material sent from us via MailChimp may cause cookies to be set on your machine. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy policy.

Links To Other Websites

Our website and e-newsletters may contain links to other websites from time to time that we do not have control over. We therefore cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information you provide to them and therefore recommend you exercise caution and check their privacy policy.

What Are Cookies?

Our website uses cookies from Google Analytics, Wordfence, Cookie Consent and MailChimp. They are small text files that are placed on your device to help the site provide a better user experience. They are either Session Cookies (temporary until the browser is closed after using the website) or Persistent Cookies (remain on your device to help identify you as a unique visitor but do not contain information that could identify you personally. We also use GeoIP detection to understand what country you live in. This enables us to show you the correct privacy information at the start of your visit.

How Cookies Are Used

How we use your information

  • We will use your information to fulfill our contractual obligations. A better understanding of you and your property needs will help us provide our best service
  • We store emails and documents you send to us and emails and documents sent in reply by us on European servers belonging to Google as part of their ‘G Suite’ of business tools.   • We may share your contact information with specialists when gathering quotes or further information on your behalf or when you request a recommendation
  • We may share your name with agents and/or vendors for viewings
  • We will share your name and address with agents and/or vendors for offers

  • We may use your contact information to contact you with information we feel you have a legitimate interest in **
  • We may use some of the information you provide and email correspondence for reference purposes and only as long is sensible. At the end of that retention period, your data will either be deleted completely or anonymised, for example by aggregation with other data so that it can be used in a non-identifiable way for statistical analysis and business planning

We will ask you directly if you would be interested in being added to our emailing list for periodic new letters and blogs (which will include property market information, local information and occasional updates on our services). With your explicit consent we will contact you with no more than six of these per annum and you may request to be taken off our mailing list at any time in the future and we will delete your personal information swiftly.

** Example:
We may use your contact details after our initial contract to continue to correspond should further information become available such as when house specific or local information becomes available that we believe to have relevant and legitimate interest to you. Another example could be in the case of you previously being a client with interest in building a rental portfolio or development opportunities. If a relevant opportunity became available in the future we may contact you. At any point you request we stop sending correspondence, we will delete your personal information swiftly.

We are committed to using and storing your personal information in a safe and secure manner. We have put in place suitable physical, electronic processes and internal procedures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, accidental loss or abuse.

Legal and Lawful Enforcement

When we need to comply with a common law or statutory obligation we may have a legal obligation that would require we store or use your personal information.

In order to comply with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations we are obliged to check the identity of our clients. This includes keeping colour copies of two pieces of I.D. on file.

Subject Access Report

We will not request any payment and in the unlikely event we need to refuse, we will tell you why and provide contact information to complain to a supervisory authority and judicial remedy.
